ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESULTS

LOVE MUCHâ„¢: RESPOND IN OUR WORSHIP TO MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO SHARE OUR
HOPE IN JESUS
Advancement: Our love muchâ„¢ response is to empower our partners to find self-sustainment
embracing a better future that equips them to meet their needs as we imitate the love of Christ with
our neighbors.
Gal 5:6 The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. We serve others
not just by words but in action and in truth (1 John 3:18) by His grace for the glory of God.
(We share our faith through His Word and by how we live our lives).
As we search for sustainable development intervention (SDI) the end result is making disciples that
learn from, imitate and teach the ways and truth of Jesus Christ.
Doctrinally
-
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We believe God
inspired the Scriptures (Holy Bible) and it is consequently without error and is complete and final as
written (no continuing revelation). (John 16:12-15; 2 Timothy 3:14-16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We accept the Bible as the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
(Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; 24:35; Romans 15:4; Hebrews 4:12)
-
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in the three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles,
in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood and His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to
the right hand of the Father, and His tangible return in power and glory.
-
Trust in Jesus Christ alone and not works is the Way to eternal life by grace through faith that His blood
is sufficient for man's salvation. By that grace, we receive something we do not deserve as the free gift
of salvation found in His Son. (Ephes. 2:8-9; 1 John 5:12)
-
Rebirth is from God to the new self in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:17)
-
We believe in the Holy Spirit, Who is an active and operative part of the triune God,
(John 16:5-15; Acts 1:7-8;) and Who indwells every Christian. (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; 2 Timothy 1:14)
-
We believe in the resurrection of the body of the saved and lost -- they that are saved unto the
resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation and that heaven and hell are
both real literal places of that judgment.
-
Our growth or sanctification in Christ is one that is progressive as our maturity and knowledge of the Lord
and His Word and Truth slowly grows over time. Phil. 2:12-13 (Works do not save us, but only God's will to
work in us and bring about our salvation.)
